Event will be located by an easy 1 hour drive from Darwin. Hash House will be accessible by 2wd.

Setting and Vetting is well under way, having reviewed the course we have elected to make the mountain bike event a bit longer to give MTB entrants a chance to explore the mapped area.

Maps out at 11:00am.

For the 10Hr Rambler or a 5Hr rover with a 13:00 start time, finish no later than 23:00 hrs.

If the deadly treadly is your favourite then with a 13:30 start time for 6 hour MTB Rattler, finish no later than 19:30 hrs

Entry forms attached. Entry fee includes evening meal, event maps and free camping.

7 Hour Bush Rogaine with a 3 Hour Roving option

When: Saturday, 15th July, 2017

Where: Coomalie

Time: 14:30 to 21-30 Stoner 3 Hour is a roving event.

Arouse your curiosity, inspire some friends by exploring the ridges , gullies and open land that is etched through significant events of years gone by. Don’t have a team?.... we will find you one!

3 Hour Rover

This event enables you to be on the course for not more than a period of three hours. This event is also perfect for families as it will get you back before dark. But then at the other end of the scale, you may be a sprinter and an elite athlete who can push hard for the whole 3 hours or spend time challenging yourself with night navigation. 

 

7 Hour Stoner

With this event, you can again decide how your team would like to compete. Stay out for a few hours, head back to the Hash House for a feed and rest and head out for the remaining hours of the event or maybe your team are fleet footed diehards who will just keep going.

 

Entry Adult pp $45.00 (includes Free Dinner & Free Camping). Entries Close ends midnight 12 July 2017. If you intend to stay the night we will need to know and whether you would like to participate in our $5 Breakfast option.
Please note that after the 30th July Early Bird entry forms will not be accepted

6 and 3 hour metrogaine, 4 hour cyclegaine

When: Saturday, 8th April, 2017

Where: MacKillop Catholic College, Farrar Blvd, Johnston

Time: 3hr Roam: 3:30pm - 6:30pm, 4hr Bike: 4:30pm - 8:30pm, 6hr Hike: 3:00pm - 9:00pm

Grab some friends and test your navigational skills as you hike, roam or bike around the metropolis of Palmerston, its suburbia and surrounding urban jungles.

3 Hour Roam

This event is aimed at those who haven’t done Metrogaines before and want to give it a go to see what it’s all about. Assistance will be available on the day, should you need some help, prior to the event. This event is also perfect for families as it will get you back before dark. But then at the other end of the scale, you may be a sprinter and an elite athlete who can push hard for the whole 3 hours.

4 hour Bike

With this event, again there are your personal team options. You can choose to take in the sights and do the cycle paths or you can really go hard and try and clean up.

6 Hour Hike

With this event, you can again decide how your team would like to compete. Stay out for a few hours, head back to the Hash House for a feed and rest and head out for the remaining hours of the event or maybe your team are fleet footed diehards who will just keep going.

Note that there are two entry forms, one for the 3hr or 6hr event and one for the 4hr bike event.

Banner Metrogaine Mania 2017

When: Saturday, 18th February, 2017

Where: Darwin High School, Bullocky Point

Time: Ramble: 3:00pm-9:00pm, Biker: 4:30pm-8:30pm, Quest: 3:30pm-6:30pm

Grab some friends and test your navigational skills as you walk, run or cycle around the Darwin Metropolis and its surrounding urban jungles. This event is proudly supporting Camp Quality, so come along and support a worthy cause.

When: Saturday & Sunday, 3rd & 4th December, 2016

Where: Litchfield Education Centre, Litchfield National Park

If you have Rogained within the last 12 Months you are cordially invited to attend an end of year get together in conjunction with the Darwin Bushwalking Club within Litchfield National Park.

On the Saturday commencing at 13:30hrs there will a navigational training exercise with a theory/practical session for an hour by Level 1 coach Jon Potter then followed by a 2 hour field challenge, whereby experienced people will be paired with someone who requires some assistance, mentoring and guidance to become a more proficient navigator. So we will need those that want to improve their navigation and those that are willing to share their knowledge and experience.

There will be also other interesting and fun activities throughout the evening and the next day.

The weekend is to thank all those within the clubs for their support and assistance throughout the year.
